Band
The Dirtpops.
Playing guitar with friends on records made at home. Science fiction western folk goth. That’s the working genre.
ListenA Minneapolis digital consultant working across strategy, creative, development, and AI. The kind of generalist who is more useful the messier the problem gets.
◢ 01 Currently
A small studio I founded in 2021. Build / Grow / Measure. Also a live experiment in website authority, content, technical optimization, and how AI actually fits into the work.
01
CMS, structure, performance. WordPress, Sitecore, Webflow, Squarespace, whichever tool fits. Lately experimenting with WordPress vibe coding via WPVibe.
02
SEO, content strategy, information architecture. Visibility that comes from good structure, plus ongoing tests with Perplexity and AI content workflows.
03
GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Looker Studio. Wiring them together so the story you get is actually about the site, not the tool.
◢ 01.1 The road here
Digital consulting for growing brands and the agencies that serve them. Audits, builds, migrations, and ongoing program support.
Led content and dev teams across U.S. and international brand sites on WordPress and Sitecore. Piloted AR for Lucky Charms and Wheaties. Built the internal video capability behind “Hands and Pans.”
Microsites, games, and brand sites for Caribou Coffee, Aveda, Google, Taubman Malls, Case IH, the Minnesota State Lottery, and Nestle Purina.
Food service B2B: Schwan’s, Hormel International, Leroux, Gerard’s, Del Monte Food Services. Deep WordPress and Drupal work.
Kiosk content, video editing, and training material for the medical device teams. Where I first learned to work between creative and engineering.

◢ 02 About
A master of making something out of nothing. Shoots photography and has a deep appreciation for Pink Floyd. The kind of guy who finds signal in the static.
Working on the web has convinced me the best sites happen when strategy, design, development, and now AI all sit in the same room and actually hear each other. I try to be the person who can translate between them. Lately, that means running a lot of small experiments to see where the interesting seams are.
I play guitar in The Dirtpops, record solo songs under Basement Sketches, keep a darkroom brain in a digital job, and live in Minneapolis with my wife, two kids, four cats, and four chickens.
◢ 03 Off Hours
Six things I keep coming back to when the laptop is closed.
Band
Playing guitar with friends on records made at home. Science fiction western folk goth. That’s the working genre.
Listen
Solo
A Minneapolis collective of musicians and my solo home for unfinished songs and quiet experiments made when the house is asleep.
ListenPractice
Still a beginner. Still about as flexible as a lead pipe. Somehow logged 350+ classes over the past few years anyway.
Make
Figurines, planters, tabletop game pieces. Two printers, one basement.
Photo
Film cameras, a lot of patience, and the occasional drone. Minneapolis mostly.
Listen
Obsessed with everything from 1977 and earlier. Piper at the Gates of Dawn through Animals. That is the good stuff.
